The IUD messes up so much about a woman and her feminine identity that I hardly know where to begin. I can tell you that, for us, it was the worst possible thing that could happen between two people of opposite genders. I will just state what I believe happened between us, and let anyone who wants to call me a liar to rage on; I KNOW what happened.

I was attracted to her and her to me. She had an IUD, and we had sex. We got married, and two miscarriages later, she had the IUD removed, and immediately we were no longer attracted to each other.

The body gives off signals that attract you to your proper, complementary gender opposite. This is for reasons of improving the chances of survival of the human race, by giving your children the “best of both of you.”

I have said what I have said. Listen, learn. Or not.

Hey, I don’t smoke! But you’re right – way too many people smoke here. And now they want to legalize marijuana! I am very opposed to that. In fact, I want smoking to be made completely illegal in Canada.

You’re right about the lack of an abortion law in Canada. There is no protection for the unborn here — it’s draconian. Our country is becoming increasingly secular – but I refuse to be discouraged! We’re trying to pray our country back from the brink of the cliff. God will help us! We’re more pro-life here in the West than in the East — I take it you were in Quebec. That’s the most spiritually dead province in Canada.

Pro-choice people imply that pro-lifers are country bumpkins, hicks, uneducated, and that’s why we don’t agree with abortion. We’re backwards, old-fashioned, not standing up for the modern woman’s rights. It’s condescending.

I just read your book and I loved it! I’m already recommending it to my friends.

You are amazing ,I hope that your message is spread around the world because we need someone to help those in tough possitions that want out.You should never have to do sothing your not proud off.I proudly support you and your message.

I want to say thank-you for telling your story in your book “Unplanned”. I was very moved by your change of heart and it really struck me how we need to have respect for people on the other side, because without dialogue we get nowhere. I am running a small pro-life group at the school I work at and I have mentioned your book, encouraging them to read it. I am hoping to bring to my small group the idea of prayer to end abortion, because as I read your book I began to realize the hugeness of it. I have done the 40 days for life here in Toronto(Canada), but I really didn’t know the impact it could have.
Thanks again for being such a courageous witness!

Hello! I am in 9th grade, been on a Walk For Life (just one, sadly) and I am very pro-life! I am currently working on a big old informative essay about abortion, and I would like to use qoutes from your blog posts, past interveiws, and articles, please! I don’t know how I will get it published, yet, but first things first, write? So, may I have permission to take some of your qoutes and some of what you said and use them in my essay? Abby,
I bought your book right away, you see because Feb 4, 1996 at 36 and going through infertility my water broke prematurely. I was 18 weeks along and spent a week in the hospital trying desperately to hang on to my baby. I went into labor and little Josiah Paul didn’t make it through the birth. I remember my Doctor weeping as my husband and I wept. But when they brought him to me to hold and say good-bye…. I KNOW that Josiah was my word from God. I saw first hand how perfect he was and it was as if God was saying look, open your eyes and see what has been happening on purpose to My handiwork. Your society is murdering my little ones. All life is precious and I will keep Josiah’s song in my heart. I will stand up and be counted with those who stand in the gap for the unborn babies from conception on!
